Yay my first favourites post!

Like, well, always there is a lot of his and misses in the skin and makeup world so much stuff actually is pretty much the same thing as the other.

Here is what I’ve been loving in, books, music, skin, makeup and technology ➡️

ELLIN HOKINS : perfect

“Everyone has something, someone, somewhere else that they’d rather be. For four high-school seniors, their goals of perfection are just as different as the paths they take to get there.

Cara’s parents’ unrealistic expectations have already sent her twin brother Conner spiraling toward suicide. For her, perfect means rejecting their ideals to take a chance on a new kind of love. Kendra covets the perfect face and body—no matter what surgeries and drugs she needs to get there. To score his perfect home run—on the field and off—Sean will sacrifice more than he can ever win back. And Andre realizes that to follow his heart and achieve his perfect performance, he’ll be living a life his ancestors would never understand.
If you’re fimilliar with the “crank” series then you will know “perfect” is one of the newest books in this heart pounding series that’s take you on a serious emotional rollercoaster that brings you on the crazy extreme highs and lows of the characters involved. “Perfect” came out in the late 2011’s and I remember me and my friend loved the series of the books so I waited to buy her a copy as a surprised just to make her smile! Everyone wants to be perfect, but when perfection loses its meaning, how far will you go? What would you give up to be perfect? Its a  riveting and startling companion to the bestselling Impulse, Ellen Hopkins’s Perfect exposes the harsh truths about what it takes to grow up and grow into our own skins, our own selves.

Something you should know ➡️ the books are in order pretty much and should be read the way they came out but they do not have to be for you to make sense of it. They are continuations but if you didn’t know that then you wouldn’t know it.

Put down the phone, pick up a book.

iPhone 7

This is one of those I can’t put it down type things, I absolutely love it. I love the feel, the design, and the futures. I have also loved Appel – for some reason I’m not into Android or the Galaxy like a lot of people are, I’ve had one phone before and the was the original HTC touch that I think came out before the iPhone even did – and ever since then I just went up and up with the iPhone as they evolved and became more new with mind blowing updates and iOS

Especially if your work is really about popular culture, networking and communications then it’s an amazing phone that literally does it all. I absolutely love the new camera, it’s one of those cameras they you need to use and use to work with and find how to use it and the setting properly – its almost as good as a high quality camera from Canon for sure. (ONLY the iPhone 7plus comes with the dual camera on the back) Water resistant, I know a lot of phones are doing this now so I’m not completely blown away by it but I know that it’s something cool and is a feature that Apple pretty much had to ad to keep up with all the newer phone models and that doesn’t mean you can you can go swimming all day with your phone it means it can take a shallow dunking and they you better dry it off pretty good. The processor is definitely faster, although keep in mind that last year’s iPhone 6S has more than enough speed for most people’s needs. One thing I didn’t like was where the heck is the headphone jack!? I get the wireless headphones come with it and they want you too us bloothtooth wireless headphones with it but come on what is you have a pair of headphones you love already, I know Apple did make a Dogle that plugs into the lightening port at the bottom and you can use your headphones that way but it seems unjustified in they reasons as to why ➡️ which I’m sure a lot will agree with me.

Apple iPhone 7Plus

The blendsmart is a super smart electric makeup brush that comes with attachment heads for all of your complexion needs – I did just do a full in depth review of this product if you want to go check it out. It you want fast and perfectly airbrushed looking skin then this is completely the investment for you and something you will want to add to your makeup routine – the hairs on the brush are antibacterial which kills germs from forming onto the bristles of the brush and I also thing it helps the skin to keep bacteria off it which is just a plus. The brush heads spin at 190 RPMs and imitate the motion of professional makeup artists to deliver consistently, flawless blending, every time. The soft, premium synthetic brush heads work with all makeup formulations.
