As mentioned previously I had a lot of unopened boxes from PR that are a little late from when I took my break but hey, better late then never right? and buying, moving into, your new house takes some time! But with that said I’ve never seen such a stunning or more expensive collaboration between a company and famous person but we will get into that later, this morning was the first time I woke up and kissed my fiancé before going into my office / studio to write and it was so cold I had to turn the heat on! long story short its amazing! oh and typically anything marked TARTE I will always open first! BUT – lets get started.
Since the original launch or VICTORIA BECKHAM x ESTEE LAUDER went so amazingly well they came out with the most popular places in the world and went off Victoria’s experiences there!
I was sent five (5) single pieces which are, matte lipstick 03 black cassis, eye foil 01 burnt anise, eye kajal 01 black saffron / vanilla, eye matte 02 blue electrique / nude and of course since I am a man, and don’t wear much makeup (all makeup is set tested and approved) skin perfecting powder!
I was also set a really nice box set from a company not Estee Launder so who ever sent me that, thank you! there was no call back or email to connect, I’m assuming it came from L’Oréal though! Every product is packaged beautifully and is extremely heavy and feels very, very luxury like Victoria Beckham.
Since there are so many cities and parts too this collection I’m going to break it down one or two products at a time! so if this interests you be sure to hit subscribe and be notified when new content is added!
DID YOU KNOW ⭐ the compact designed for the skin perfecting powder was designed after a vintage cigarette case Victoria found in the Burlington Arcade in Mayfair, London.
This powder creates an airbrushed finish, minimizes the look of imperfection, and sets makeup. It is luxuriously soft, lightweight, and comfortable. The soft yellow undertone visibly brightens all skin tones – and its so wonderful applied to the skin, it doesn’t come with a puff so you’d have to use a travel brush with it but its completely worth it as the beautiful design will catch the eyes of both men and woman alike. The powder is a pale yellow-toned beige and is meant to be a universally flattering and mattifying powder. The powder is indeed invisible on the skin and can work for all skin tones. The powder does mattify but it does not make the skin look flat or powdery. It provides a very natural, skin-like finish. It is a very fine powder that sits weightlessly on the skin and sets it, without sinking into lines or emphasizing texture. While it doesn’t emphasize lines or texture, it doesn’t blur them either. It keeps your makeup on a reasonable amount of time, like many powders, and does a pretty good job of mattifying. I love that the finish is very natural and I don’t really see or feel the powder.
