BEAUTY NEWS -> MARC JACOBS BEAUTY | GROOMING FOR MEN, YOU NEED THIS | M A K E U P x T H E C I T Y

Hey, Hi, Hello; so I am back happily and safely in Canada and one of my new years resolutions what to start to film more and out of my spare room create a nice little filming set up that, so I have ordered the lights and I already have then 4k camera, so I’m just waiting for the proper items to arrive – I met a couple Marc Jacobs employees while I was there who shared some really cool item(s) that will be for sale coming up one item in particular I have mentioned previously as kind of ‘why hasn’t anyone done this yet?’  and I bought something for the time that as a man, simplified and just made something I don’t much like doing – such a good experience and for only $49.00.

Alright so lets get into it, Marc Jacobs beauty is coming out with new concealers and wonderful touch up and finishing powders, I know they are set to launch I believe mid February to the end of February but it will be worth they with, the packaging for these are absouloutly flawless as Marc Jacobs always does, though that whole cheetah print collection I had to just take a couple of steps back from, a little to feminine for me, but hey we are all different.

The powder is what I can’t wait for, it’s a faux leather from meeting with a beautiful metal, built-in brush, and get this it’s so well hidden you wouldn’t even know it was there unless someone told you, I was able to check out some empty shells and if you’re all about the name and  the design, be prepared to fall in l o v e.

The concealers packaging is kind of standard for Marc Jacobs Beauty, to me, it kind of looks like a lipstick or one of those in your purse vibrators, come on, you see it too! It appears like it’s going to be a good year for Marc Jacobs of course I can’t comment on anything else as I don’t have the products just as if yet.

For men’s grooming, I know I am late to the party for this one but I’m so happy I am at least late and I have a feeling that maybe males already know about this but if you’re a female buying for Valentine’s Day for your man or even if you got it all done, trust me, add this in and he will love it, what I am talking about is Philips OneBlade for face and body edition which costs close to $100.00 but there is one for just the face for $49.00 and you can find it for cheaper only by like $5.00 but hey, it’s still saving right.

I always, no matter what I did, new razor, the softening hair oil, the exspensive brews and potions would always, alwaaaaays, suffer razor bumps and I hated it so much, I just hate the act if shaving but with Philips OneBlade you can do it all even a complete close shave, you can us it wet or dry but do not run it under water, it means you’re able to us it in the shower if you wish, I have see the Dolan Twins use this, a lot of drag queens use it because it doesn’t cause any irritation and gives you such a close shave! Oh and it’s rechargeable!

It blurs my pores and covers juuust enough of my freckles to have a place in my arsenal.

Along the MAC family spectrum of sheer foundations, it sits about halfway between Face and Body (which is sheerer and doesn’t blur my pores as well) and MAC Studio Waterweight (which has fuller coverage and a more matte? finish.
If you like Face and Body but wish it was better at blurring pores, you should totes give Next to Nothing a try.

JUST TO KNOW ➡️ Great for dry skin, absolutely amazing for the next to nothing look but NOT full covered maybe add STUDIO FIX powder + powder foundation for that real full effect.

I think it’s a lovely sheer foundation for minimal coverage. It’s easy to apply with your fingers, but MAC is also releasing a couple of synthetic fan brushes to go with the collection. Either way, you won’t have to do intense blending.

I like it a lot and highly recommend it if you just want to even out your skin tone and slightly blur your pores.
If, however, you want full-on glam and opaque coverage, this won’t do it for you. And it might lean orange and settle into your fine lines, depending on your skin.

There are also two brushes in the collection — the 141 Synthetic Face Fan Brush (the one with shorter bristles) for $35, and the 140 Synthetic Full Fan Brush for $24.

I like the 141 for the foundation and the 140 for the powders, but you can also use your fingers for the foundation and a regular face brush for the powders.
The brushes do make it a little easier to create elegant, natural coverage that looks super blended, but the difference between using them and just using my fingers doesn’t blow my mind. If you’re crushing hard on the products, though, the brushes might be worth the investment.

The collection also includes a line of pressed powders called the Next to Nothing Pressed Powders, available in nine shades for $27 each.

I’ve tried them in Medium, which, granted, is probably a little light for my skin tone, but from that I think I can still say that I prefer MAC Mineralize Skinfinish.
These have an almost creamy consistency, which I love, and they don’t make my dry spots look drier or break up as the day goes on, but I think they also look a little more obvious on the skin than Mineralize Skinfinish.
