WHAT DOES YOUR SKIN SAY ABOUT YOU AND YOUR HEALTH | RECANTATION | M X T C

What’s going on boys and girls – I’ve had it with some brands, I really need to press that just because products are sent to me or I am paid to review and advertise something does not mean I will go and say lies about the product, I have to say, I give skin care and some makeup items a good two weeks, before I write a review. With a recent paid review (SERUM C | M X T C) I didn’t give it that long because I figured it’s just a suspended vitamin c, treatment strength, serum. I just have to say that, I should have gave it the two weeks because I ended up having a massive reaction to the product, with using Serum C I cut out all my skin care and used just a basic moisturizer with my eye products – I got the worst burns on my forehead, cheek and chin and no it was not a break out or anything like that, I thought that at first and I understand that so treatments like this can cause the skin to become ‘worse’ before it gets better, the worst part about it, is I get a damn press release which is information in extreme details and it didn’t say anything about a warning, it’s not the vitamin c it’s how it is suspended that makes it kind of dangerous for the skin without being micro needled  please google it if you don’t understand what I am talking about, the worst part about it when I showed pictures to the brand, and talked about what happen they just didn’t care, and they were not shocked. Did I mention Serum C comes with a $200.00 price tag, I’ve learned to understand different signs from my body using my skin that something isn’t right, inside and out, you should also.

There are 3 things people will first notice about you, eyebrows, skin and teeth, with out a doubt someone will make a impression about you based on those 3 things especially in the judgment world we live in today – your skin is the most noticeable part of your body. And it can play a major role in telling you about your health. Rashes, acne (spots), bruising, and more can all indicate potential health problems you may want to look into.

I know this 1 will be nothing new to you but stress, when you’re under emotional stress, whether it’s from a job or another life situation, your body reacts physically. If you’ve noticed breakouts on your skin but don’t believe it’s due to your diet or age, then it may be stress-related. Take a step back to find out what is causing the stress in your life, you have to try to calm down and cut the stress out because in most cases people will start to treat it like active acne throwing benzoyl peroxide and all kinds of chemicals thinking it will help the situation which typically causes irritation, loss of hydration and extra sebum creation and in return causes your skin to fighting back and it becoming worse which in return just makes you more stressed about your appearance.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ This is really important to remember, in most cases acne and irritation from stress is large, red, and 99.9% of the time very sore, you shouldn’t try to pop it but if you do you will find out that, it typically will not pop. As fast as it came typically over night is as fast as it will start to settle down and tone down, in as little as three days it will be almost completely gone, Try putting some Witch Hazel and Vitamin E cream on it or take Vitamin A orally, for no more than 3 days. For more facts about Vitamin A click here.

Water helps your body sustain normal functions. When you’re not hydrated, your skin will show it. Your skin might become dry and look dull; you won’t have the glow you’d normally have if you kept yourself hydrated. While dull skin might not seem like the worst thing, being dehydrated is terrible for your body. The amount of water you should be drinking each day varies per person, but you should generally aim for around 64 ounces daily. I truly cannot stress just how important it is for your body to be hydrated, I don’t drink pop and only drink real juices and it’s not like I’m punishing myself, it’s because I just don’t like pop or overly fake sweet drinks. Next time stick with water, your teeth will thank you also.

HYDRATION
Any kind of rash, hives, or red skin could mean you’re having some kind of allergic reaction. It may not be as dangerous as anaphylaxis (which often results in difficulty breathing, swollen eyes, and potentially deadly health problems), but it still isn’t something that should be taken lightly. If you’re taking a new antibiotic, make sure to check around your body and look for any sign of hives or rash that could mean you’re allergic to the drug or said ingredient. The same thing is to be said for some active ingredients in some skin care can interfere with medication or make you ill without even knowing it when it is absorbed into the skin.  If you notice anything, stop taking it and talk to your doctor or contact the company for more information about an ingredient as they have to disclose any and all information.

Another thing to look out for and I actually did have this happen to me, there is a massive difference between being pale and being almost white, if you notice you skin a little on the white, semi grey side, it would be wise to talk to your doctor and get a blood work panel done to determine if your anemic. There are different types of anemia and treatable with some vitamins. Make sure you pay attention to what your body is telling you.

MY MISTAKE(S) AND THE HOUSE OF AENEA | MXTC

Hi beautiful – so if you know I was going to get Botox and Filler and I was going to go just for my neck and jaw line but the more I looked at myself, I thought, well maybe some filler under my eyes, botox smile lines, a bit on my forehead and then hell since I went through re-breaking my jaw and alignment I shouldn’t just do filler I should get them to cut open my skin along the seams, pull the skin forward and stich it closed then botox along the ends to freeze my muscle, after I was done looking at myself in the mirror, I almost told myself ok, you’re free to go. I went to my consultation said all of this stuff to them I ask them to look me in the eyes and tell me what they saw, not once did anyone say you’re 26 years old, you don’t need this and in fact your skin is almost near perfect, there are moments in life that define our lives and there are moments the divide our lives, again I found myself saying ok, you’re free to go.

They created almost a system for me from the collection they already had, and the results after six days, are absouloutly crazy. Don’t let anyone or anything make you feel like you’re not beautiful or worth it. I know express or stress action speaks louder then words and when I asked to go to the bathroom and suddenly I was on the Highway, and the clinic was calling me; if you miss the appointment or whatever reason can’t go this is a VIP clinic so they have your credit card on file so that they can charge me 500$ if I wasted any time or didn’t show up – I’m not even sure if they took it or not and if they did, they obviously need it more then I ever did.

The house of Aenea

We are a technology-inspired skincare brand born out of the science of Epigenetics. Each product in the comprehensive collection has been designed and curated using intricate thought and research, and as a result our innovative and high-performance range will enhance the relationship you have with your skin, especially when cross-blended, as the formulations are amplified when used together. The range includes anti-pollution heroes, high performance serums that combat stress and reduce cortisol production, as well as effective cleansers, moisturisers and exfoliants.

The range strengthens your skin, so it can take on the world. Our epigenetic, vegan, cruelty-free, anti-ageing products enable your skin to combat environmental aggressors such as stress, climate, pollution and technology. The combinations of natural ingredients work in harmony with your skins pre-determined genetic aging process. The result, an all-together natural born skin care program that will leave your skin feeling its best possible self.

The first product that I was sent was The Lifestyle Enhancer, just from these names I knew they meant business this serum meets moisturizer protects your skin from ageing caused by oxidation, keeps your skin youthful and elastic by fighting glycation, and increases skin firmness while filling your fine lines and wrinkles which I don’t really have at my age but it’s a good time to start to fight it. The results if this product I saw almost overnight.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ This is just an introduction to the brand that I’m sure a lot of you have not heard of, I will be following up with before and after photos along with my videos from the nurse and surgeon and how they wanted too fix me.

What is glycation exactly? Technically it’s the process by which the structure and activity of proteins within the skin becomes slowly stiffer, leading to the collagen and elastin becoming less elastic, a well-known cause of premature ageing.
Another way to understand glycation is if you think about what happens when meat is cooked in a frying pan – as it is exposed to heat, the natural sugars in it become more rigid until finally the steak is hard. This is what happens to our skin when it is exposed to the ageing rays of the sun – it’s slowly glycating. As the sugar molecules react with free amino groups of proteins, irreversible cross-linked molecules are formed, modifying the structure of our skin and making it appear more brittle and stiff.

Next I introduced Modern Shield – A one-stop skin protector, the back-bone of your day to day skin defence, it works like an environmental shield, protects from high energy visible light from computers, offers protection from infra-red radiation and one thing I want you to pay attention to is “protects from high energy visible light from computers” I understand the damage that our phones and computers, technology in general is doing to your skin but I wasn’t aware of how bad it was hurting my skin.

Moving on to the Oxygen Plasma Serum which was one of the products I was interested in trying just because of the name, honestly, accelerates the skin’s ability to regenerate, helps the skin’s healing process, stimulates the metabolism of Keratinocytes, encourages collagen and elastin production and increases the penetration of other active ingredients so far.

I was very blown away by this brand by now, I would switch it up morning to night, or adding in a little bit of one mixing half one, half another which is actually encouraged.

I was also sent the Corrective oxygen mask, the Rosehip cleanser and Fruit acid gel exfoliator which all blew my mind, this brand really gave me something, diamond like precision, it’s the level of skin care you’d expect but with the price that will give you that slap in the face but, you know that it’s a wonderful line and worth every penny.

#️⃣ MAKEUPANDTHECITY!!!

Hey friends, Is everyone getting ready for the holidays? Putting up the tree? We all have so much to be thankful for even if we sometimes forget what it is exactly. I have found myself in the holiday mood once or twice – I have also thought about starting my own YouTube channel, with all the successful items one would need, well I guess you don’t need these items to be successful but for quality it helps to have appropriate lighting, a good camera that shoots 4K HD video and we can’t forget the background relating to who you are as a person, and trust me I tried to have a burning tree behind me but I ended up going to jail for a night for endangerment and being reckless, imagine that..

That going to jail and burning tree was obviously a joke, but I am sure, uh, hopeful that you all got that it was meant to be a joke! Moving on from that! Happy Friday everyone! so I was sent something that I was actually pretty interested in trying and have been for a while now but its one of those items that you think about or see and want to try but once it fades out of your mind, you forget, until you see it again and wonder why you forget in the first place! I assume you read that I’m talking about a DermRoller specifically the luxury and very, expensive Dermaroller and products within the brand, DermSpark, after reading the facts, doing my research and trying the product for three weeks, did it make the cut?

img_0270
SIDE NOTE ➡️ Optimal number needle count (162) ➡️ Durable and can be used 3 times a week for up to one year ➡️ Safe and easy to use ➡️ Significantly enhances infusion of important nutrients ➡️ Medical grade a-traumatic (non-traumatic) needles.

I first want to start off with Dermaroller vs. other rollers because Dermaroller sells for almost $400.00 Canadian but it also comes with Hyaluronic Acid Ampules and we will get into the other products  in a bit. I found myself doing a lot of research when I opened this box because I have no clue why I was sent this until I read it was sent to me in consideration of review so I had to see what made this roller better then say a $20.00 on off Amazon so I went ahead a bought one and found out there was a massive difference in the needles, one being in the separation of them, two being the sharpness, I have a litt le magnifier microscope that plus into my MacBook via USB – and I was kind of shocked at what I saw, the Dermaroller was smooth, there was not a lot of blood, and was ideal in the production of collagen. The Roller I got off Amazon looked horrible, there was a lot of blood and it just looked like I have scratches like an intense rug burn – I also saw that the needles on the Dermaroller were cut fine like a needle should be, and the Roller needles looked almost like staples. Also the way they handled was like night and day. So I do not recommend buying this online from Amazon if its something that you would like to try.

Dermaroller-vs-others
Did it work? Yes, it did. It was so amazing actually for tone, pigmentation, I have a very strong jaw line and smile lines and I wont lie I thought about getting filler and Restylane and I mean lately I was thinking about it a lot because its a not so permeate way to get the look I want – but I have no need for that now, I understand that you’d love to wake up to glowing skin every morning, you might want to learn more about DermarollerDermaroller can help encourage your skin to create new collagen and elastin, helping your skin look plump, smooth, supple, and healthy. It rejuvenates by using tiny needles to puncture the top layer of your skin, which trigger collagen and elastin production.

➡️ Stimulates the regeneration of skin cells through light puncturing of the skin

➡️ Old skin cells are also removed

➡️ Skin becomes more radiant, complexion becomes more refined, and blackheads, spots and enlarged pores can be reduced

➡️ See brighter, fresher, younger-looking skin

With optimal needle count, the Home Care Roller by Dermaroller maximizes effectiveness, safety and comfort. Using the highest quality micro-needles from Germany, treatment with the Dermaroller is virtually painless. No lie. I also love that in addition to improving skin tone, Dermaroller can also reduce the appearance of scars, pore size, lines and insecurities. It can be combined with other treatments, such as Tarte Knock Out which is an acid treatment to resurface the skin, it’s a ten percent acid complex which can be kind of strong for some skin types, and let me tell you, it burns on it’s own but, oh god, after the Dermaroller it stings a bee, but my skin hasn’t looked this good in a very, very long time!

threeinhereSIDE NOTE ➡️ Dermaroller might not be right for you if you currently have active acne. The Dermaroller can easily spread bacteria over the skin, potentially causing breakouts, or making them a lot worse.

I was also sent Hyaluronic Acid Ampules which are incredible and these are the exact same vials as the plastic surgeons office, I thought that was pretty cool. They are perfectly formulated to deeply hydrate and support the natural moisture of the skin it also will bind with waters that fill spaces between collagen fibres, keeping them resilient and elastic.

➡️ The box comes with 30 ampules that contain 1.5ml each, for a total of 45 ml.

So I guess this would be the end, I hope that you guys like the longer more detail reviews in The Cut, I really want to see if the product(s) make The Cut – and yes DERMSPARK DERMAROLLER made The Cut! The last thing I would like to say is make sure if you’re not buying a Dermaroller due to the price point, please do your research because more get 1.5mm needles and that will destroy your skin from first go : it is recommended that for the first three months you use only 0.5mm needles and if, and only if you start to feel it isn’t working out as well you can then go up a size.

SUBSCRIPTION BAGS – IPSY, IS IT WORTH IT? |MAKEUPANDTHECITY

Hey guys,

I’ve been pretty interested in these ‘mystery’ subscription boxes lately so I reached out to a couple of the ‘top’ monthly subscription bags to see if they would allow me to do the process and receive it the mail in the exact time frame that all of you would have to wait also.

So IPSY is apparently one of the best, they want to reinvent the way that you experience a subscription bag because they personalize down to, tone, hair and eye color. Which I will say are factors for finding the right makeup for you.

But just how much care goes into the screening process, or is it hit and miss because I selected I was fair and go a sample eye concealer that was in shade DARK and yeah that was one (1) of my five (5) personalized products, I wasn’t shocked per say as I didn’t have much hope in it. There were two full-size products, a double-ended brush, and a highlighter which I did like. I guess these bags are just hit or miss, one month you could love it all and the other you could hate it all. If you’d like to read about IPSY more click here to go to their about me.

img_1399

Are subscription bags worth it? I guess it depends on you – like you like samples and like to try semi-new to new products then yes – most are only $10.00/per month ($15.00 in Canada) I will not be going ahead a starting a subscription just because it’ll be one more thing that I won’t need – and we can all relate.
They do always come with a themed bag based on a charity or cause from what I am gathering which is nice to see. So there are many reasons why a service like this works and a lot of reason why it doesn’t make much sense! but hey, you be the judge!
