Guerlain has been in the business of luxury and beauty for more than a century. Founded in 1828 by master perfumer Pierre-François Pascal Guerlain, the small business was passed down five generations to become the beauty powerhouse that still stands today. Although they are still renowned worldwide for fragrances like Shalimar, Guerlain is home to products with technology and ideas that have inspired the newest breed of makeup and skin.

With stores all over France and products sold in Sephora, Bergdorf Goodman, and Clyde’s, Guerlain guarantees that you’re walking away with something extravagant and lavish if you’ve got your hands on one of the company’s products.

There is something I will leave you to think about ➡️ MXTC is all about uncovering the true quality of beauty products, so feigned goodness in a pretty jar doesn’t impress me. The most obvious issue with Guerlain is their prices. Just one ounce of Guerlain’s famous Jicky fragrance costs $317.00 at Bergdorf. And the Guerlain Success Future Day Care SPF 15 costs $140 for one ounce. Which would be absolutely fine, perhaps even worth the price, considering the Success Future skincare line is formulated to be anti-aging.

Compulsive indulgence, Sephora user said “great…however, I decided to return it after noticing it contains oxlybenzoate…as well as parabens…it’s absolutely a 5 star product if you don’t care about its ingredients…”

I kept falling down the rabbit hole…

There seems to be very little proof that their $1, 700.00 Anti-Aging care does anything special for your skin. Overall, I would have to say save your money and invest it into beauty products that aren’t deceiving or unsafe, and I will say that who I am and who I warn you I am are two completely different and Guerlain will never ask me to work with them again but it isn’t in my blood to say anything for any amount of money, Sadly for me. Guerlain does not post ingredients anywhere on its website. Luckily, Sephora does, but most other retailers that carry Guerlain products do not. However, a quick search Google search of “Guerlain ingredients” brings up several helpful pages, including one that notes the functions of certain Guerlain ingredients, whether they are comedogenic or not, and their safety ratings.

Everything that you’ve read is the truth from the good, and the bad but at the end of the day it is in no way my place to tell you how you should or shouldn’t feel about the company and LVMH. A lot of things are done differently for a company of this age, and within the guidelines of Paris.
