Finally I got my MacBook back (though I do find myself getting stuck on the command and control key) from the Microsoft Chrome challenge, wow it took a little bit longer with shipping it back to me and everything like that, it also got stuck in customs for a very long time, but I’m going to break out the similarities and big differences between the two powerful computers in a coming post! I’ve also decided that any post that is for spring beauty, or new spring launches i will call ‘IN BLOOM’ which just seemed to be, just fitting too me! How are you boys and girls doing? I truly hope that you are all doing well, in Canada central Canada the weather has been pretty good! Not to cold but thankful not to hot! I don’t know why but I seem always over look Charlotte Tilbury! i remember going to a press event for he line coming into Holt Renfrew in Toronto on Bloor St. I wasn’t really liking the feel mind you Faulhaber Communications who was organizing this whole event and you can quote me on this, I truly think there is no better PR Agency in Canada then Faulhaber – they just do things one step on the game! But anyways a PR agency is not why we are here Charlotte Tilbury is, I just have to say how on the website its all ” hello darling “ it truly is iconically Charlotte, after meeting her now when I read the names or read a paragraph,  I can literally her her saying it, it’s wonderful! 

If you were to buy one thing for Charlotte Tilbury it should be the Magic Away Concealer and heres why honestly the Magic Concealer is like spanx for your eyes as much as that sounds, its completely true! it spreads itself out so thin but there is so much pigment and added benefits to it –  is an incredible full coverage liquid concealer in a netural shade for all skin tones and undertones. For five years, Charlotte Tilbury has been working on this holy grail of concealers that reduces the appearance of dark circles, blemishes and imperfections, for fresher-looking second skin instantly!

Next would be Charlotte’s Unisex Healthy Glow which is a hydrating tint – it’s not as full if  a hydrant as a tinted moisturizer, I would recommend putting a little of a stronger hydrator around your nose, chin, between the brows and centre of the forehead to give it that BAM This fabulous unisex cream is SO natural, no one will suspect you’re wearing it! and its so true so who else to try it on but my boyfriend who actually still wears it to date within his skin care regime, it really does just even out the skin with just enough coverage with a hit of bronze that you wouldn’t really expect. It kinda reminds of the Recipe For Men Bronze cream which does the similar thing ➡️ if not the exact same only its made to work more with mens skin and testosterone and such – which when you’re a man it’s nice to have those options without calling it ‘makeup’ and when I say if you’re a man I mean it as a guy who doesn’t wear makeup or know the world of makeup; plain and simple!

➡️ Next on my would be the Goddess Ritual Cleanser Duo from Charlotte Tilbury it’s absolutely one of my must have for cleaners ➡️ I always say that cleansers are a grey area, many disagree with me but it’s true, I don’t think there is enough time used to be able to make a difference within the skin, I’m not saying that they don’t do anything because they do, but what follows after cleansing your skin us where you will see the most benefits until trying this ➡️ Deeply purifying, super-charged cleansing duo for fresh, radiant-looking skin just make sure if you have blemish prone skin watch out for large doses of vitamin c sometimes with some skin it can have a negative effect! Sadly I know this all to well!

So, today I will be talking about Catrice – HD liquid coverage which has been the talk of the beauty community when Catrice sent out their eighteen (18) shade PR box, I should also say this foundation also comes with some pretty crazy claims, but we will get into that – many and I mean many, say that this foundation is a dupe to Fenty Beauty, which I touch on a little on that in my post this morning.

The three (3) main claims of this foundation are ➡️ one (1) it last’s up to twenty-four hours without the need for touch up ➡️ two (2) the product is supposed to act as if it’s second skin ➡️ three (3) it’s completely vegan and mattifying and the only reason I’m feeling a need to mention that is the whole twenty-four hours with no touch up, will it keep you completely matte for that long? Let’s find out. Catrice is one of the most affordable makeup brands (beside Essence, owned by Cosnova inc. which also owns Catrice) that is available in drugstore and their prices are not as expensive as compared to L’Oréal and some other brands – it’s a lightweight and non-oily texture that feels like a really does feel like second skin. Provides a long-lasting full coverage without mask effect and creates an even complexion.

There is of course three (3) standard undertones Cool– silver jewelry looks best on you. Your veins appear to be blue and purple. Neutral – both silver and gold looks nice on you. Your veins appear to be green and blue. Warm – gold jewelry is your go too. Your veins appear green.

As for the Fenty Beauty dupe claims, well they both have the same ingredients in the exact same order, and to be honest the think Catrice is better then the Fenty by a long shot, especially in the price range! I was going to do a entire post about this but a lot of people beat me too it! so I will link in one of those comparisons here – I think over all, this foundation is a true win win, all of the claim are true and it’s dropper packaging is so perfect and on trend for right now.

As for the twenty-four hours hold check back within a couple of day and I will do a twenty-four hours wear test with photos and I will not touch it up in anyway, I’m not the type to wear foundation like I would just use the dropper and put it in areas of the face that I would want to conceal – I guess we will see the outcome! so check back!

Is anyone else absouloutly loving this cold fall weather – it’s beyond refreshing and so comfy to sleep under a big blanket all nice and warm with a dim apple cinnamon candle lit in a cold room! Lipstick ornaments, advent calendars, glitter everything –  When it comes to holiday makeup collections, most brands are pretty predictable. Unless, of course, that brand is NARS Cosmetics — and this year, the industry rebels didn’t disappoint. The brand recently released a studded holiday collection inspired by the iconic punk fashion of the 1970s, which features an array of new lip colors and playful palettes, as well as some cult classics from the iconic brand. NARS Orgasm Infatuation Palette, is the palette is loaded with the kind of cult classics you would always home that someone would buy for you or that you would buy for yourself, but were always JUST out of your budget. Packing Laguna Bronzer and Orgasm Blush into one set not only makes them slightly more affordable, but also adds a level of convenience for those of us who just want all our face powders in one place. I could say exactly how beautiful the bronzer, blush, and highlighter looked on the model when they sent me this collection to review but I do not think I’d be able to do any justice.

NARS Provocateur Eyeshadow Palette is so beautiful, and is a makeup lover must have, some of the shades within this palette are eye-catching the orange shadow in this palette is what initially grabbed my attention; I’ve been seeing tangerine and rust shades everywhere lately, and I wanted to play around with this shade but my swatch looked more red. So, I added a bit of the deep purple lightly on top and it was so beautiful. Full pigment, completely blendable and lasts forever. With or without a primer. The size of this palette also makes it perfect for a stocking also for travel! The only thing is they are selling out extremely fast of this current shade range.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ Some of the shades within this palette seem to stain the eye – so make sure that you have a good makeup remover!

NARS Manic Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Set the Vicious color from this set is like a soft pink and a rich red lipstick had a baby. It makes lips look a tinge darker and sexier, and the crayon application is totally dummy-proof. Totally travel friendly, and again the perfect stocking stuffer. They are also iconic NARS products – NARS core products.

NARS High Voltage Highlighting Palette well as much as these highlighters look highly pigmented at first sight, they come off very sheer. I would compare it to a setting powder with a light touch of shimmer. If you do a dusting all over your face for a ‘lit from within’ look, ideally could take a bad situation and make it a lot better. If you want a more obvious highlight, this probably wouldn’t be for you, but if you just want an overall healthy glow, you’ve met your match.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ You can also try laying same shade colors for a more intense highlight, or duh – wet your brush with a setting spray.

NARS was my first professional brand that I saw and fell in love with when I was just becoming interested in the world of beauty and lifestyle – I remember getting my best friend to take me to Toronto for the second time in my entire life to go to, well, Sephora – at the time I didn’t even know what Sephora was. I felt so out of place or like I shouldn’t be there – I remember it so clearly because I was so out of my comfort zone. I bought a duo eyeshadow called Pandora and I think I bought a couple of red bottomed brushes.

Now lived in and living in Toronto and so much time gone by and my career at a point where I walk into any Sephora in North America and most know me by name is so crazy to think back to that little boy who was so scared and out of place.

It really makes me happy when I’m out and someone says that they know me from my blog and they love the raw feeling also when I’m told that if it wasn’t for me they wouldn’t know what a certain brand was. This beauty Gucci ring which I wanted to get for quite some time and someone saw that at L’Oréal luxe and sent me it for my birthday thinking it was JUNE 3rd still none the less so amazing and so beautiful! It’s metal with aged palladium finish and  green Swarovski crystals and the box it came it! Wow, it looked like snake skin but not it’s really hard to describe but nonetheless thank you L’Oréal luxe. 

Next is for sure the MAKEUP FOREVER HD PR VAULT which I was a little late to open but still so amazing and you guys don’t even understand how far some of the PR packages go, I just got a PR package with a pair of glitter roller skates in it alone with the products which you’ll see very soon!
