I had a chance to go to the movies lately and it was between Little (Comedy) and US (Triller / Horror) and I think it’s because who I was with but I picked the movie Little, not it at all! I think I walked out, leashing who I was with behind me. I now have a very strong understanding of men and children. All I’m going to say about US from the get go is However clunky and repetitive, Us continues to demonstrate Peele’s understanding that great horror requires metaphors that are insanely great and sometimes twisted to understand. I have personally been quoted saying ever nightmare needs influence and I’m so happy someone got the memo, unless their paying your bills pay them bitches no mind.

You think you’re having a restful summer vacation with your family, but as the night closes in, so does a group of four people who look exactly the same as you and yours—cast in shadows, standing in your driveway. What do they want? All that you are and everything you have.

That’s the nightmare of Jordan Peele’s new horror movie Us. The film centers on the experience of the well-to-do African-American Wilson family; parents Adelaide (Lupita Nyong’o) and Gabriel (Winston Duke), and their daughter Zora (Shahadi Wright Joseph) and son Jason (Evan Alex). These doppelgängers—or Tethered, as Peele refers to them—are the products of a failed U.S. government experiment to create controllable human clones. Now, they have left their underground communes, and want to kill and take the place of their counterparts.

This is the sort of movie that fans will rewatch to appreciate the fillips, the purposeful echoes, the bits of foreshadowing, and the performances. Moss has little screen time, but she shows her genius as her character’s murderous double. Watch her savor the act of putting on lip gloss: Her eyes turn dreamy, and her smile spreads so wide it looks as if it will swallow her face. When she’s the double, her voice is the whistle of someone whose throat has been cut, with a gap between the start of a word in the diaphragm and its finish in the head. It’s like a rush of acrid air from a tomb, further chilled by eyes like boiled eggs, fixed on nothing in this world. The terrestrial Adelaide is more subtly scary; Nyong’o builds extra beats into the performance, lurches and ellipses that keep you from identifying with her too closely. Something’s off — but what?

Peele likes to mix tones and moods, and as he did in “Get Out,” he uses broad humor both for delay and deflection. There’s a cryptic opener and an equally enigmatic credit sequence, but soon the Wilsons are laughing at their vacation home. It’s a breather that Peele uses for light jokes and intimacy while he scatters narrative bread crumbs. There’s a beach trip with another family, this one headed by Kitty (a fantastic Elisabeth Moss) and Josh (Tim Heidecker), who have teenage twin girls. At last, the movie jumps to kinetic life with the appearance of the Wilsons’ doubles, who descend in abrutal home invasion. I feel like US makes US look in the mirror but what happens if we don’t like who is staring back?

My own teeth after four month use of WhiteWithStyle (never had braces or alignment)

This is one for all my guy’s out there, and it’s a massive game changer when it comes to men’s grooming, I’m also going to try to make it a 5 minute read due to the nature of the post, I will say though there is so much coming and I have a lot of things I’m excited to share with you all!

I know I was the last man to find out about Philips OneBlade – and personally I’m a little sad that none of my men didn’t DM me and tell me I happen to know I have 1 or 2 drag queens who follow me – and I know it’s very large within the drag community, although with that thought I’ve never voiced my hate for shaving and getting razor burn easily so that might be my bad so its 50 / 50 blame game.

Anyone of my dudes out there who didn’t know there was a saviour out there, I got you! Every male should know about Philips OneBlade just because it’s one of the best grooming tools I have ever used. Men don’t talk about their skin a lot or really take care of it but they should, most men suffer from sensitive skin but don’t do anything about it when they should be.

OneBlade is waterproof but I wouldn’t recommend bringing it into the shower with you, you can just wash the tip after you are done with it and spray with a alcohol spray to insure the blade is fully clean and ready for your next use.

Trim ➡️ Trim your beard to a precise stubble length. 3 stubble combs included: 1 mm for a tight trim, 3 mm for stubble and 5 mm for long stubble.

So with it being 2019 – it’s a new year and a new start to do better then last year, we all have those products that are our ride or die, we use them daily and freak out a little when we see we are starting to run out. There is going to be no particular order or anything like that, I don’t want anyone to think that I like one brand more then another brand, also we are all different which is nice, so something that might work well for me – doesn’t work so well for you and your skin. All we can do is try new thing until we come up with our must have list. There is going to be some items that isn’t skin care or makeup as well!

I can’t say enough good things about my Clarisonic Alpha, it’s helped my skin in so many ways just to help get that extra clean and to make sure that all of the environmental pollutions, dead skin cells, stop the pores from even becoming clogged in the first place, the only thing I can say, if you buy one of these devices make sure you use it everyday and put the work in because it will change the look of your skin. SO I did a little test, I went to the MAC PRO store and asked my shade and got NW15, next, I went to the MAC inside The Bay, there I was told I’m NC15 – I think point I’m like how the hell.. So I went into the MAC store when I was shopping in Buffalo and they said I was N5. So I was just so confused again, I guess it depends on the person that you ask, but shouldn’t MAC of all stores have some kind of system or training to properly, I understand my skin tone, undertone and MAC’s color system so the first man was correct, I am in fact NW15, I guess I’m just saying make sure you get a couple opinions of what is right, for you. Hi there, Nope, You’re reading the title right, I am blogging about the same Self-Setting concealer but at the time I did it came out in PR and wasn’t out just yet so I’m going to cover it again because, and for no other reason than, it’s just that good – prepare you’re self for what I predict to be the concealer of 2019 and I have a feeling it will be out of stock a lot on the shades that you’re going to want and or need! Also if you’re new to the industry you may have heard that MUFE is cutting out PR and that is absouloutly true – they are going to keep Micro-Influencers and some larger ones but they will not be going forward with updating a media list, but they are going to be making the professional discount a lot easier to receive recognizing all avenues of beauty and industry standards. We’re only two days into 2019, and it’s looking like one hell of a year for innovative complexion products. The latest brand to change up the game is Make Up For Ever, which is solving all of our makeup woes with its new Ultra HD Self-Setting Concealer. Make Up For Everis releasing a concealer that sets itself and promises to stay put. That’s right, you can forget about setting your makeup with a translucent or foundation powder, because the new Ultra HD concealers will do the work for you. This is especially great if you’re looking to cut down steps in your routine and if you want to steer clear of drying powders (or toxic ingredients in our lungs) during the winter season. The new complexion products come in 22 shades (at first launch). The formula offers a creamy, medium coverage that glides on seamlessly. According to Make Up For Ever, the concealers are crease-free for up to 12 hours ➡️ this is all without a setting powder.

Under the eyes, small bit around the nose area, a dot on the chin, and I’m done and out the door.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ According to a press release sent to MAKEUPANDTHECITY (I feel so official), Make Up For Ever will discontinue its current Ultra HD Concealer formula for the new one. Does anyone love this one? I never really got into it so I’m not overly upset.

There is so much to be said about this concealer and I urge you to get and pay the $35.00CAD for 5ML because it’s such an amazing concealer and it’s a good step in the right direction for makeup in 2019! You can take a better look for yourself and buy if you’d like too right here.
