Hi boys and girls, if you’ve followed me for a while you would know that I don’t typically have a posting schedule and for a little now it’s started to bug me, Sunday typically marks the end of the week and Monday marks the start so, Sundays are going to be ‘beauty news’ and when the rest of the schedule is figured out I will let you know, with the growth of my blog I actually am going to be adding a new beauty editor and there will be some very big changes that are actually ready, but I’m just not sure that I am but, lets get into the beauty news!

Having announced earlier this year that Chanel’s former creative director and designer, Karl Lagerfeld, had been working on a secret make-up collection with L’Oréal Paris before his death in February, the cosmetics giant has finally revealed the details of what is set to be the most chic make-up range ever.

L’Oréal confirmed that Lagerfeld illustrated the initial ideas and monochrome packaging, as he did with all of his designs, whilst the brand worked with his team to finalise the products posthumously.

 ➡️ The unexpected collaboration is less surprising than you might think. Lagerfeld infamously drew his signature fashion illustrations using eyeshadow rather than paints or coloured pencils and also launched a capsule make-up collection with Model Co. last year. So far specific products and price points are yet to be revealed, however, it has been confirmed that the range will share Lagerfeld’s pioneering spirit and commitment to celebrating feminine power, with a relentless quest to create the unexpected.

I really think that this is going to be the beauty collaboration of 2019 and I can only imagine how fast it will sell out, launching online on 20th September and globally on the 27th September during Paris Fashion Week nonetheless.


From the wide range of shades to the texture of the products, nothing was left to chance in creating a line that would work for all kinds of women and at different moments of the day, from a subdued, elegant daytime look to more audacious, shimmering hues for nighttime.

The collection is made up of a highly pigmented nine-shade eyeshadow palette, a duo of highlighter for a glowing complexion, an extra black mascara, and a pigmented, ultra-matte eyeliner in black and silvery pink “Metallik.” The “Rouge à Lèvres Color Riche Satin” lipstick features a nourishing, healing formula and is available in six shades with names invoking Karl himself: Kultured, Ironik, Provokative, Karismatic, Kontrasted.

As I said above, if you want this collection be prepared to hit add to basket because it’s going to sell out fast, I asked an old coworker at L’Oréal if they would be sending this out in PR and he wasn’t even sure.

Tatcha, that brand we all seem to want but can’t always afford I think post today I am going to list off some dupes for the Tatcha Water Cream along with the other two mentioned products. The thing is, Tatcha is such an amazing brand for it’s ingredients to what it does to better help where it’s old secrets are hidden! Luxury right from the box and it keeps going, The water cream itself make my combination skin glow, another thing that I like about Tatcha is if you are on their PR list, when they send you a new product they make sure your products are replenished which is really kind and generous of the brand!

This moisturizer will not break you out, which I think even as we look for a new moisturizer, it’s something that we want. The texture of The Water Cream will make you fall in love, especially paired with the new ➡️ The Satin Skin Mist which is again such a game changer if you have oily skin – but we will get to the skin mist shortly. According to the brand, ingredients like Japanese wild rose are meant to help minimize the appearance of pores and texture, while leopard lily extract helps control excess oil and boost skin turnover. I honestly can’t say that it’s done a whole lot in terms of evening out my skin, my pores are smaller and very hydrating, soothing, giving me a thoroughly enjoyable sensorial experience.

The Satin Skin Mist is such a must for myself now, the Okinawa clay that is you can see settled in the photo above is wonderful when you shake it, and it all comes together it’s wonderful, no oil on my skin at all, you wouldn’t even know I had oily skin! Hey boys and girls, I am personally a very big fan of changing my skin care pretty much when I feel the seasons begin to change. Skin is the largest organ of the body. It consists of three layers of tissues: the epidermis, the dermis and the subcutaneous layer. The epidermis is the paper-thin outer layer of the skin. The outer layer of the epidermis consists of dead cells that are always flaking or washing off. These are replaced by new cells manufactured in the lower portion of the epidermis, which move upward to the outside of the skin. As they do so, the cells harden and die, some people have skin care that works for them but in a lot of cases the skin just gets used to what you are using.

This cycle of cell production and replacement slows as we age. It takes about 28 days for the average, middle-aged adult. As we grow older, this skin cycle slows to about 45-60 days in our 40’s and 50’s. It can further slow to about 60-90 days in our 50’s and 60’s. As this process slows, dead cells accumulate on the surface of skin causing sagging and collapse of structure or what we see as lines, wrinkles, and deeper folds. Bacteria can become trapped causing blemishes and breakouts. Discoloured and irregular cells can also become trapped causing spots, discolouration, and sometimes more serious skin conditions, which is why I find it very important to take care of your skin starting at a good age, and there are available treatments to correct what time has done on the skin but after it would be up to you to keep it up.

Georgette Klinger is a European line that was interested in my feedback so they sent me a couple of item, and in return I was asked to pick whatever products I was interested in and added to the PR list. The prices of the products are on par with what you will be getting, of course the moisturizers and treatments start to become a little bit more expensive but it’s the same with any brand, the difference is the ingredients. 

Coconut Cleansing Milk I love using in the morning to take off all the oils and yucky stuff from the night ➡️ not to mention the aroma is so light but smells so good. There is so much about this skin care line that I could just rave about all day! But they have one product that I literally call my secret little weapon and that’s because it is, gone are the days of the night before a big job interview you get that feeling like you have a huge pimple coming and you wake up and sure enough there it is, right on your chin! It is even worse when it’s the night before a date and you get the same feeling, concealer can only do so much! A lot of our beauty woes are because after the age of 35, our body starts producing less and less collagen. That means our skin loses firmness and gradually starts to wrinkle and sag. Many of us try expensive cosmetics, supplements and even surgical procedures when the best solution might be much simpler.

➡️ Some of the most basic foods can do wonders for our skin.

The first magic food is actually bone broth, and don’t be like yuck, yes, it sadly tastes worse then it sounds but lucky for you there are ways nowadays to make almost anything taste amazing and besides the effects it has on the skin in as little as a week is wonderful – when you eat bone broth, you’re really eating cooked collagen. This is a powerful way to restore collagen in your skin and make those wrinkles disappear. Sure, you could find a lot of products with “collagen” on the label, but dietary collagen is more potent — it mainlines collagen to your cells.

From a young age, Christen Dominique had a strong interest in color. From there I realized that Christen Dominique Cosmetics was a brand that i would want to use in my artistry and that I would want to represent because that is extremely important to me now more so then ever! I would like to thank Foundation PR for adding me to a couple of PR Lists including Christen Dominique who I have heard of course within the beauty industry but I never knew how good it actually was, I just wish there was complexion products such as Foundation, Concealer, Powder, Primer, Blush, Highlighter they just knocked out of the park so we are good there!

The Lemonade Palette was maybe one of the more successful bundle launches for summer of ’19 with the unbelievable palette and the liquid lipsticks that were paid and pick perfectly off the same lemon tree, if you will. This was another one that caught me off guard because other then Jeffree Star Cosmetics we haven’t really seen anything like that so it was very, very needed and if you will, refreshing!

Lemonade is a bright fun punch of pops of color and a lot of glam. Extremely blendable and creamy so you can create everything from fresh soft looks to dramatic eyes for a hot summer night out.

Each shade is smooth and buttery in texture that glides on for intense color payoff. Includes four (4) richly pigmented soft matte shades and six (6) ultra creamy sparkling shades curated for all skin tones, eye color and artistry skills.

To create each shimmer shade in our Lemonade Palette, we used different sizes of pearl particles to create varied textures and shimmer appearances making each palette a unique experience that you’ll discover as soon as you break the surface of the shade with your finger or brush.

OUR HAUS, YOUR RULES – who didn’t see this coming from the launch Fame by Lady Gaga because I am not at all, in fact; took you long enough Gaga, I wish she started with concealers and such but that would not be on brand with her so i get that!! I just open the Canadian PR which is highly different then the USA PR pretty much the same but with a little Canadian twist. This isn’t the first time Gaga has taken the game and shook it up and down and make people think and I can say, it’s almost like Marc Jacobs beauty and Lady Gaga had a baby.

Currently I am not yet allowed to write about the brand as we signed a PDA and I’m not going down that rabbit hole again, ever again! but I urge you to check back next week just to experience the PR kit and the beauty Lady Gaga herself put into it!

When I was young, I never felt beautiful. And as I struggled to find a sense of both inner and outer beauty, I discovered the power of makeup. I remember watching my mother put her makeup on every morning, basking in the glow of her power to put on her bravest face as the hard working woman she was. I then began to experiment with makeup as a way to make my dreams of being as strong as my mother become true. It was then that I invented Lady Gaga. I found the superhero within me by looking in the mirror and seeing who I wanted to be. Sometimes beauty doesn’t come naturally from within. But I’m so grateful that makeup inspired a bravery in me I didn’t know I had. I’ve come to accept that I discovered my beauty by having the ability to invent myself and transform. They said I was weird, but really, I was just Born This Way.

What’s going on boys and girls – I’ve had it with some brands, I really need to press that just because products are sent to me or I am paid to review and advertise something does not mean I will go and say lies about the product, I have to say, I give skin care and some makeup items a good two weeks, before I write a review. With a recent paid review (SERUM C | M X T C) I didn’t give it that long because I figured it’s just a suspended vitamin c, treatment strength, serum. I just have to say that, I should have gave it the two weeks because I ended up having a massive reaction to the product, with using Serum C I cut out all my skin care and used just a basic moisturizer with my eye products – I got the worst burns on my forehead, cheek and chin and no it was not a break out or anything like that, I thought that at first and I understand that so treatments like this can cause the skin to become ‘worse’ before it gets better, the worst part about it, is I get a damn press release which is information in extreme details and it didn’t say anything about a warning, it’s not the vitamin c it’s how it is suspended that makes it kind of dangerous for the skin without being micro needled  please google it if you don’t understand what I am talking about, the worst part about it when I showed pictures to the brand, and talked about what happen they just didn’t care, and they were not shocked. Did I mention Serum C comes with a $200.00 price tag, I’ve learned to understand different signs from my body using my skin that something isn’t right, inside and out, you should also.

There are 3 things people will first notice about you, eyebrows, skin and teeth, with out a doubt someone will make a impression about you based on those 3 things especially in the judgment world we live in today – your skin is the most noticeable part of your body. And it can play a major role in telling you about your health. Rashes, acne (spots), bruising, and more can all indicate potential health problems you may want to look into.

I know this 1 will be nothing new to you but stress, when you’re under emotional stress, whether it’s from a job or another life situation, your body reacts physically. If you’ve noticed breakouts on your skin but don’t believe it’s due to your diet or age, then it may be stress-related. Take a step back to find out what is causing the stress in your life, you have to try to calm down and cut the stress out because in most cases people will start to treat it like active acne throwing benzoyl peroxide and all kinds of chemicals thinking it will help the situation which typically causes irritation, loss of hydration and extra sebum creation and in return causes your skin to fighting back and it becoming worse which in return just makes you more stressed about your appearance.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ This is really important to remember, in most cases acne and irritation from stress is large, red, and 99.9% of the time very sore, you shouldn’t try to pop it but if you do you will find out that, it typically will not pop. As fast as it came typically over night is as fast as it will start to settle down and tone down, in as little as three days it will be almost completely gone, Try putting some Witch Hazel and Vitamin E cream on it or take Vitamin A orally, for no more than 3 days. Water helps your body sustain normal functions. When you’re not hydrated, your skin will show it. Your skin might become dry and look dull; you won’t have the glow you’d normally have if you kept yourself hydrated. While dull skin might not seem like the worst thing, being dehydrated is terrible for your body. The amount of water you should be drinking each day varies per person, but you should generally aim for around 64 ounces daily. I truly cannot stress just how important it is for your body to be hydrated, I don’t drink pop and only drink real juices and it’s not like I’m punishing myself, it’s because I just don’t like pop or overly fake sweet drinks. Next time stick with water, your teeth will thank you also.

Any kind of rash, hives, or red skin could mean you’re having some kind of allergic reaction. It may not be as dangerous as anaphylaxis (which often results in difficulty breathing, swollen eyes, and potentially deadly health problems), but it still isn’t something that should be taken lightly. If you’re taking a new antibiotic, make sure to check around your body and look for any sign of hives or rash that could mean you’re allergic to the drug or said ingredient. The same thing is to be said for some active ingredients in some skin care can interfere with medication or make you ill without even knowing it when it is absorbed into the skin.  If you notice anything, stop taking it and talk to your doctor or contact the company for more information about an ingredient as they have to disclose any and all information.

Another thing to look out for and I actually did have this happen to me, there is a massive difference between being pale and being almost white, if you notice you skin a little on the white, semi grey side, it would be wise to talk to your doctor and get a blood work panel done to determine if your anemic. There are different types of anemia and treatable with some vitamins. Make sure you pay attention to what your body is telling you.

➡️ There are so much more I could talk about, fungal infections, STD’s, menopause, or even liver disease but I think that’s enough to take in for today.

My first impulse is to write good morning but I can do that because this is a globally viewed blog, If there is one thing to know about my writing process is I wake up, do what I have to do (go for a run, pick up coffee, feed my fish) and then I write, it’s anywhere from 4am – 5am and I’m done by the first ray of sun kisses the night good bye, I guess I could say, good day, anyways, off topic, how are you? today I’m going to be talking about BY TERRY and their new Palette Factory, and if you don’t know much about BY TERRY well by the end of this post I hope you learn something of one of the worlds first luxury brands of makeup still around to date. There is a lot some iconic work of the creator of BY TERRY, Terry de Gunzburg still used by rival brands to date when she was employed by them in 1992, fun fact in 1992 I was 2 years old.

BY TERRY was a massive influence in the beauty industry then and now, in fact she got it so right that not much has changed within the branding or the ingredients of course the brand would evolve with the times, every great brand does – In 1985, Terry was hired by Yves Saint Laurent to develop the brand’s cosmetic line. In 1992 she created Touché Éclat, the iconic brush-on concealer/highlighter that is often referred to as “8 hours of sleep in a tube” which is still a big best-seller for the brand. “From YSL, I learned the essence of how to anticipate women’s needs.” said Ms.de Gunzburg.

There hasn’t been many new launches from BY TERRY over the years but one is a killer under eye product, and no it’s not the eye brightener but I do think they marry really well together, for 7ml of product it costs $90.00US the Terrybly Densiliss Concealer, this potion comes with a price tag but for under your eyes it’s a massive game changer, its more than a full coverage concealer its, a full coverage treatment. I had to throw in my favourite product from BY TERRY.

Now lets talk about the palette factory launching online and in select Sephora’s ➡️ you can choose from 1, 3, 4 or 8 inserts ranging in costs from $79.00 all the way too $495.00 – I know that is quite a jump eh but it’s a luxury brand, any A-list celebrity or celebrity makeup artist will have BY TERRY in their makeup kit.

I choose the 8 pan palette, in front of you or online via the BY TERRY website you should have a empty palette so its time to pick what you want, you can choose your shades, colors, if you want matte, shimmer you even have the choice of pattern if you want marble, half and half or trio (1 pan with 2 shades pressed inside)  whatever you want,  you’re creating your own BY TERRY custom palette – You can literally if you did this in store create your perfect shade of powder foundation by mixing three shades together in marble so when all those shade mix together you have your ideal shade. I know BY TERRY isn’t the first company to do this, and I am sure it won’t be the last but the way that the company approached this is so smart, there is so many colors, base shades, finishes, and possibilities.

Hey guys, what’s going on! my jaw is on it’s way to healing very nicely! I’m scared for the next week, it’s going to be uneasy for me, Today, my mom is going for her triple bypass surgery, I’m nervous, but I assume that the doctors do this kind of thing every day and it’s just a walk in the park for them, no more time, and no more second chances here but I still have so much to say, so I hope that it goes smoothly and there is still time for me to say what I need to say, sadly my schedule doesn’t allow for me to be there until tomorrow, so I am just hoping in time.

Today I’m going to be talking about the coveted top 5 NARS products as decided by, you. This is a semi sponsored post, as the images and coding is all provided by NARS. I do believe that this is, in fact, the coveted NARS top 5.

Don’t stop. Keep going. NARS mascara, Climax, wants to give it to you – it being long, fluffy, thick lashes that just go on and on and on. Climax contains a full-bodied brush with a whipped, creamy formula that lifts and builds without clumping. There are very few mascaras that I would recommend in fact there are only 3.

➡️ The dictionary definition of the word climax is ‘the most intense, exciting, or important point of something; the culmination.’ So that’s a pretty ballsy name for a mascara. I was ready to get extra critical and pick this mascara apart like it was Bruce Willis and I was Demi Moore on Comedy Central’s Roast. But despite being on high alert for flaws, I couldn’t find any.

SIDE NOTE ➡️ I used Climax on myself, my friend and set model. Each with different results, and with both girls having completely full busy days, both reporting back that it stayed out, only one saying at the complete end of her night there was a small flake under the bottom lash line.

Next coveted item I’m sure you already know, Radiant creamy concealer which move over shapetape is now the new number one selling concealer in America and Canada which is pretty cool. Seems a lot of people have forgave NARS for the whole China thing or they just forgot.

➡️ There is 30 shades in this concealer which is a good shade range for everyone, this concealer is also one of those concealers where its the perfect finish for conceal, contour and highlight, and with the buildable coverage puts the control in your hands. This concealer is also one of those under eye perfect concealers, personally I like a matte finish under the eye but this concealer is a really beautiful finish under the eye, and doesn’t crack, keeps the area hydrated and fresh.

➡️ Even though this is full coverage ➡️ it doesn’t look flat on the skin and that is the most important thing for me when it comes to concealer. If that isn’t the one thing you look for, it should be.

Next is Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation which comes in 34 shades and is probably one of the best set foundations with editing – so if a photo is going to be altered and edited, the makeup artist will lay down almost like colors for the person in editing to know the intended shades and where they go, with lines and almost like a blueprint on the face for the person in Photoshop. For day to day foundation I actually wasn’t a big fan of this but I know it’s 1 of   NARS best selling items and is a great foundation in regards to ingredients.

The NARS PowerMatte Lip Pigment is one word ➡️ NARS is a definitive cult classic, remaining at the forefront of the beauty world and quickly gaining a permanent place in the hearts (and make up bags!) of all who try it. Uniting impressive pigment with precision (basically the ultimate lip wear power couple) this is NARS’ most powerful matte.

➡️ The liquefied pigment gives a weightless feel and grants ultra-flexible, long-lasting wear. It’s totally smudge and budge-proof, guaranteeing carefree wear, and unstoppable wear.

Warning: this is likely to turn you into a fully-fledged NARSissist. Without a doubt I feel the NARS power matte lip pigment is truly one of a kind. It is very easy to apply and feels weightless on the lips. The colour pigmentation is second to none.

I think that we all know what the last item is going to be from the top NARS items, and that is, without a doubt – NARS Orgasm Blush! is probably one of the most popular blushes from NARS.  It’s known for being one of those universal colors that looks good on everyone, and gives a sort of ‘glow’ to the skin with its fine gold shimmer.

NARS Orgasm is pretty pinkish-peach color with a golden shimmery sheen.  I find it works great as a sort of two-in-one highlighter and blush.  The light bounces of the soft gold shimmer and creates a glowy effect, while the peachy pink warms the cheeks.

I’m sorry, I had to title today’s post that, I’m sure you get we will be breaking down some new, some iconic and some not that the brand aimed way to high for and it just, flopped, hard. Anyways, wonderful Saturday to you all! Tomorrow is St. Patrick’s day which used to mean a lot of alcoholic beverages for a lot of different people, maybe I will go out and have a few but my man is working and is a lead chef in a restaurant so, it’s a bigger night for anywhere that has booze on the menu. I actually stopped drinking, and I wish I had a huge from the bottom up story or waking up in strange places or something but I don’t really, alcohol just isn’t good for your body, skin or mind.  Plus it’s very easy too cross a line when you drink that you can’t come back from. So I guess all I can say is, be safe, be with friends, and be smart.

Alright, so now that we got that out of the way, let’s talk about Hourglass luxury beauty, and yes all items talked about will be added into the giveaway if you have been following any previous post TGIF! WhiteWithStyle | M X T C check that out and pop back to continue, I can wait! I don’t mind! I absouloutly love Hourglass Vanish Stick foundation, I think it’s one of the all time best products out there, pop culture would also agree with me, and you know what they say, don’t mess with a classic – They came out with a full liquid version of Vanish, with some big and I mean big claims ➡️ no primer needed ➡️ half a pump to do the entire face ➡️ second skin natural finish! Hourglass said that it they feel its the future of foundation.

Weightless, instant full coverage is delivered through the formula’s innovative coated pigments—allowing for seamless application and a long-wearing, second-skin adherence. A natural finish is delivered through light-refracting microspheres, blurring and smoothing any imperfections for virtually perfect skin. With all of that being said there is a lot of mixed reviews so put every claim to the test over two weeks to find out exactly what was up, I found that it does oxidize quickly and become shade(s) darker quickly, it sticks to dry areas and really shows off any little flake of dryness, there is no natural finish this is drying and matte, make sure if you choose the route of no primer, use a rich moisturizer and bring a touch up compact if you’re going anywhere because I found that it lifted on and around the nose, chin and sides of the eye, strangely.

I would say to go into your Sephora and ask them to make you a good sized sample because the sample jars that Sephora has are supposed to fill for a two week use and give it a try because it is also more exspensive the iconic stick formula.

Ambient® Lighting Edit ➡️ Volume 4, I love these little palettes so much, and I know a lot of people don’t understand Ambient® Lighting from Hourglass but its kind of like different color settings on a ring light, cool, warm, etcetera but brought to life, when you understand how to use these powders they can change your makeup game forever and the palettes are a good way to start to collect them – I could do without the hot pick metallic shell though I wish they would have kept it more gender neutral as they do but pink is a guys color also, I guess, just not mine.
